Return & Refund Policy

Return Eligibility

We accept returns of new, unused, and uninstalled items in original packages within 30 days of delivery.

All approved returns are subject to:

  • A 25% restocking fee
  • Customer responsibility for return shipping costs
  • Prior approval of a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA)

Tempest Torches reserves the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

 

Non-Returnable

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Parts will not be accepted if not returned in sealed original packaging.
  • Custom-made doors or products
  • Special-order products
  • Clearance, discounted, or final sale items
  • Used, installed, or assembled items
  • Replacement parts and accessories
  • Installation, service, and shipping fees
  • Items marked “non-returnable”
  • Requests made after the 30-day return period

 

Damaged, Defective, or Missing Items

All claims for damaged, defective, or missing items must be reported within three (3) days of delivery.

To file a claim, email support@tempesttorches.com with:

  • A detailed description of the issue
  • Photos of the product (multiple angles)
  • Photos of the packaging (regardless of visible damage)

Failure to report within this timeframe will result in denial of the claim.

 

Freight Deliveries (Important)

For freight shipments:

  • The shipment must be fully inspected at the time of delivery while the driver is present
  • Any damage must be noted with the carrier before signing

Once the delivery is signed for:

  • The shipment is considered accepted in good condition
  • Tempest Torches and the carrier are no longer liable for damages

Additional freight terms:

  • Customers must be available for scheduled delivery appointments
  • Missed deliveries appointments may result in a shipping fee
  • Freight items must be returned via an approved freight carrier
  • Items returned damaged or improperly packaged will not be eligible for a refund

 

Return Authorization (RMA Required)

Do not return any item without prior authorization.

Unauthorized returns:

  • Will be refused or returned to sender at the customer’s expense
  • Will not qualify for a refund

To request an RMA, email support@tempesttorches.com with photos of the item and the original packaging.

Return Process

  1. Request an RMA – Submit photos and request approval
  2. Receive Instructions – We will provide a return label or shipping instructions
  3. Package the Item
    • Use original packaging
    • Do not write directly on the box
    • Place the RMA number on the shipping label only
  4. Ship the Item
    • Use a trackable carrier (UPS or FedEx recommended)

Customers are responsible for ensuring the item is returned safely. Tempest Torches is not liable for lost or damaged return shipments.

 

Refunds

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Processing time is approximately 10 business days after inspection and approval
  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless required by law

 

Policy Enforcement

Tempest Torches reserves the right to:

  • Deny any return that does not meet the above conditions
  • Request additional documentation for claims
  • Update or modify this policy at any time without prior notice
